We also had to create a gmail contact list with our classmates:

The challenges I faced while completing the task:

I had no challenges in creating an gmail because account and downloading the movie marker and audacity was pretty understandable and easy. Part of creating an email we had to create an class contact list though gmail on our devices. I didn't even know that you could create a group contact list in gmail but once it was explained and shown how to, I had no challenges in creating a contact list for the class on my own. Instead of getting everyone to write down their email address, I went into one of emails sent from administration office and add them to my contact list then put them in a group.

I benefited from this learning experience due to I didn't know that email are also tools of communication as a multicommunication/multimedia in that way that you don't have to be adding a contact one by one when sending a email.

Role of Technology and Media in Education:

There are six categories of media:

1. vidoes
2. visual
3. text
4. people
5. audio
6. manipulatives (objects)

I have learnt that each student is different and they learn in different ways and as teachers we can meet each student needs through media by technology. I have also learned that technology can be used as a tool of teaching and as time progress technology improve to make life easier.

Learning, Learning styles, Multiple Intelligence & Learning Theories.

I have learned that learning is a permanent change in behaviour, knowledge and skills based in life long experiences.

Based on my research there are seven learning styles:
1. visual
2. aural
3. kinesthetic
4. logical
5. social
6. solitary
7. read and write

I have learned that there three main learning styles which are :

1. visual- using pictures, images and spatial understanding
2. aural-using sound and music
3. kinesthetic - using your body, hands and sense of touch

There are nine types of Multiple Intelligences:

1. naturalist
2. musical
3. logical-mathematical
4. existential
5. interpersonal
6. bodily-kinesthetic
7. linguistic
8. intra-personal
9. spatial

I have learnt that there are four main theories of learning:

1. behaviorism
2. constructivism
3. conginitivism

4. social-psychology

My lecturer Mrs. Roberts shared a brief video of the history of technology which I will share with you.

I have learnt that we have come far with technology and that we use technology in our everyday lives as tools but we can also use technology in our teaching techniques to cater to each child needs. As time progress technology improve to make life easier and even though we improve in technology, at times we may need to revert back to old technology.
